Good news and Bad

Have you ever had a time where the news you got was good and bad?

I got some of that news today. I bid on a job and have been waiting for a week to find out if I had gotten it. Plus this guy needed it done by Labor Day weekend. So there wold be a high amount of stress involved in getting the thing done. Well today I got an email from him that was a blessing and a bummer. He had gone with someone else. Good news is that I won't be so busy but the bad news is that I could of used that money.

There have been times like this throughout my spiritual walk too. Don't mean to get to spiritual on you but I'm gonna. There are those times when God tells you to do something and you know that it is going to put you in an uncofortable zone but He has the best intensions for you. He might ask you to draw away from something that is causing you to sin. But hey, that is good for you to do, right? Pulling away from something that you have been doing and have been comfortable with for a while can hurt. But after time it would feel wrong to go back to it.
