    The last trip

    Ok we are back!

Here is a pic of Griff on the way to Virginia.

It was a great trip. We had a good time with Kate's familia and Ben her bro got hitched. Yeehaw!!! The ceremony was short and too the point. My kind of wedding. I ushered Lori my mother in law down the isle and that was the extent of my part. Oh yeah I told people to sit down and shut up too! Just kidding - it was kind of fun. I got to wear a suit and everything. I looked all grown up! Glad I don't have to do that too often!

We got to go to the old colonial town of Williamsburg and had a real authentic tavern meal. Kate wanted some water but Hoss, our waiter, said, "If you want water go outside and dip yer head in the horse trough!" Crazy. We had a dandy of a time.

Kate and I also got to spend some much needed time hangin' out together in the Nation Mall in DC. We got in some great exercise as we trudged through the Air and Space Museum, the Museum on Natural History and the Museum of American History. By the time we were done we were pooped. We then found an awesome restaurant in the bottom of this building on 14th and E St. I think it was. Great little brew house with some great Fish & Chips. Kate had the Meat-loaf that was great too.

We also went into the Smithsonian info center that was in this old castle. It was way too surreal. Check this pic I snapped of the ceiling.

Wouldn't it be cool to live in a castle? I would love it but I would have to have a lot of night lights. I have seen too many scary movies where the gargoyles come to life!

    Trying to catch up,
    ~Hosh~
