I don't have to drive far to work but it takes me about 15 minutes. That 15 minutes can be really interesting. Sometimes I listen to the bible on tape, maybe a little R.C. Sprol and then there are those times that I just sit and veg out with God. I lift up all the concerns of the day, He comforts me with memories and little ideas then sometimes there is nothing. Sometimes I don't even remember the drive to work when I get there. I have had some great things happen in the car. Great revelations about life. Great thoughts and ideas come to me. One time I even started crying listening to a Chemical Brothers song. I think it was just so loud and I felt like God was there enjoying it with me. Some of you may read this and think "Man that guy is a kook!" All I know is the car ride to work is an awesome time to spend with God and let Him come to you how He wants to.
