Man, good response to that subject! (make sure to read the comments on the post before this one)
It's funny how when you are going through something how God places certain people and events that take place. Sunday night, in our small group, we are going through Romans and we happen to go through Romans 10 & 11. 11 talks about Elijah pleading with God because he thought he was the only prophet left and was worried for his life. God told him that He had reserved 7000 that have not kneeled to Baal. It happens now and it happened back then. Elijah couldn't not see the work of God and he started to get frustrated. I can just hear him now, "God I am all alone. Where are you? They are after me and there is no one left!" I think that I would be a little worried to. I think the line for him between reality and faith was a little blurry too, don't ya think?
All in all, I think it has come down to waiting on God. I am by no means a patient person and I know that this is definitely a test of that. I know that God has reasons for everything and He says that He will never put us through anything we can not handle. Sometimes I wonder just where that line is! I am waiting God and trying my best to not be impatient.
I am sure that there are things that you have been waiting on and I hope that you get some kind of encouragement through my struggle with the relationship between reality and faith. Keep praying and looking up-is the advice I give myself and the advice I give you
Trying to figure out the relationship,
~Hosh~

Hosher,
I believe you're finding out that faith is reality and it's transformational. Live it!

While reading the second chapter of Matthew, verse 22 and following, struck a note with me. Check it out.
God clearly communicated to Joseph through an angel, that it was time to return to Israel. Joseph, upon obediently returning to Israel, had reason to believe that there could be further trouble for him and his family in Judea. He made the decision to move his family up to Galilee. God gave Joseph overall direction (return to Israel), but left any specific decisions in Joseph's hands. Joseph was sensitive and obedient to God's direction, and at the same time, he made decisions based on his own prior knowledge and intuition. Faith and reality.
