Lately around the office, we have been messing around with a pair of handcuffs. We handcuff certain people to stuff. Not in a malicious way but just to have a little fun with. You know that intern that doesn't pull his own weight around the office, why not handcuff him to his chair or the unsuspecting coworker!
That got me thinking. Sometimes sin can feel like a pair of handcuffs. You struggle to no avail to get out and yet you are still bound. Sometimes you are not even sure how you got in them. You used to be able to see the key hanging on the wall but now you have lost sight of the key. Really the only way out is to call for help and for someone to grab the key and unlock you from the bondage that you were in.
A couple things come along with this freedom.
#1. You need to be thankful to your savior.
#2. You need to remember this bondage and how it felt when you got out of it so you don't go back to it.
Handcuffed,

Funny thing you post about this today. I was just playing with my roommate's handcuffs today. I handcuffed myself to my desk chair in hopes that it would help me stay focused on what I should be doing. It didn't...
The interesting thing about handcuffs is the limitation they put on you. Did you ever try to hug someone while wearing handcuffs? Think about it....
