Might be time to get rid of the Metro

If you didn't know: I drive a rollerskate of a car. A black 1999 Chevy Metro, 2Dr 4-cylinder. K8 bought it brand new (It was really the only car she could afford back then) and we have had it our whole married lives. Yeah, your right, that is not very long. We made the long trek in the "Escape Pod" from California to here in Michigan about 3 years ago. Fun little trip and the car did great.
Our lives are a lot different now. We have a house, a dog and a little boy. We need a truck! We need to be able to have a tailgate party, pickup an old couch for the basement, go camping, pick up a load of wood at Lowes and go 4x4ing. I hate to break it to the "Escape Pod" but she will need to be replaced. I know that this will be a hard transition for her but she is a tough car.
I am looking for a good owner now. I want to know that she will be in good hands. I want someone that will love her as we have loved her. I also want to sell it to a student. I know what you are thinking. "A student? Are you crazy? They will ruin her!" Now don't worry. K8 and I will request to see their driving record and will have a personal interview. We wil make sure that whoever's hands whe goes into will be the right hands.
This is a sad time for all. Please pray for K8, The "Escape Pod" and I as we transittion into a new way of life.
