    1st half

Let me tell ya, I thought that the first half of the students would be good but wow they are an awesome bunch of kids even though some of them were late to breakfast (some of you guys still owe me money - you know who you are). I knew only a few of them but now I can tell you something about each of them. We took 10 students in all to Philly this past week: Alan, Josh, Josh, Kayla, Rachel, Johanna, Tarah, Kenzie, Michael & Trevor. We had some great discussion on a whole host of ideas and really got to go deep on some of them. I love trips like these were Kate and I can get to know students more in depth. It is hard to get to know students in a weekly setting. You only get to see them for an hour a week at most and don't get to do life with them. In these kinds of settings you can see the true nature of people. You get close to them and that causes you to get to know them. I wish that more of us could go on trips like these with the youth of today so that we can invest in their futures. Anyways enough of my Psycho-bable.

I can't wait for the next trip to roll around!
