    Holy Grail of churches

We took a field trip today to Grainger Community Church (www.gccwired.com) and it was pretty cool. We got to take a tour of there facilities and had an opportunity to ask there senior management some questions. There place was really sweet!

We started with there children's area and it made me want to be a kid again. Every area was specifically geared for that age group. The totlders room was padded (might be good to look into that for Griff), there 4-5 year olds room was all camo and had a huge metal tubbing airplane in it, they had a room that they had to buy the rights to use 3,2,1 Pengiuns (I had my picture taken with Kevin) and the most fun of all they have slides that the children get dropped off at!! They slide right into there respective rooms. What kid would not want to come to church just for that.

A year or so we revamped our children's area and don't get me wrong, it is sweet but nothing in comparision to what Grainger had. Griff and Beany would love all the stuff there.

We got to see there main auditorium and it was really tech savy. Made me drool a little. After I found a napkin to wipe up the mess I walked back stage. This was really cool-We really need a back stage. Makes it hard to do anything different with our stage because of the way it is set up.

Anyways lots of good things to think about. One in particular I will discuss in a later post. Right now my hands are getting tire typing so I think I will quit. I have to work back into this you know.

    Later,
    ~Hosh~
